Step 4: Know Your Goals


What are your goals? what are you aiming to achieve? are you wanting to drop 20lbs in couple of month? are you wanting to build a good amount of muscle in a few week? looking for those abs? Now is a good time to start planning and setting your goals.

These goals will help motivate you and help fuel the fire inside of you, to keep this fire burning you might need a little extra motivation, but setting your goals always works.

So your wanting to lose weight? your not wanting it to take you years and years to do so you want it in the near future? within the next couple of months. You set yourself a ultimate goal, the very end product that you see yourself as, this is a good way to help motivate you but if its too far to reach you will most likely end up failing, or even worse binge eating putting on more weight than before.

So set yourself a big goal, but also set yourself small goals you can complete each week to keep you working hard and keep you motivated. the first week you might want to lose 3lbs, so write this down, keep a diary or just write it on a piece of paper and stick it to a wall so you will see it everyday, put a little check box next to it so you can tick it once you have reached it, and give yourself a treat for achieving it, either with a little cheat meal or buy yourself something nice, but keep setting yourself those goals each week or each month for you to reach, setting goals are very important, without having a goal what would be the point?

So whats your goal? why are you wanting to lose weight? for girls? to be healthier? fitting in those nice clothes? being able to run around and play with your kids? for your partner? to prove someone wrong? or just for yourself so you feel better about yourself, no matter the goal and reason, keep it in mind always, always ask why, and tell yourself you can do this.

So set yourself some realistic easy to reach goals and have the big main overall goal at the back of your mind to work towards slowly.
