Step 1: Acceptance

At the start of any journey, especially a weight loss journey, It should always start with Acceptance.
People who are overweight are overcome with emotional issues and physical issues, from being tired all the time, being really down in the dumps, not feeling very good towards yourself leading to hating yourself, being self conscious, trust me i've been there i know how it all feels.
Not being able to look at your self in the mirror without feeling disgusted, not being able to wear nice clothes because they look awful on you, always walking around with your head down wondering what people are thinking or saying when they see you out and about, while the entire time your inside voice is telling you things need to change for you to be happy.
If your at this point, don't ignore that voice and go to the nearest place to find some comfort food, instead you need to rewire your mind, you need to think and you need to accept that you want to change and accept that you have a problem, once you accept yourself the rest of your journey will be much much easier and actually a lot of fun!
Acceptance can come in many forms, you need to stand yourself in front of that mirror and take it all in, accept that this is how you look, but this is not who you are, your inside there somewhere, you just need to find him/her. Ignore what other people think and say, there not worth your time or energy, you will need all of that for your journey. Be proud of who you are not matter the circumstance, its all about how you are progressing, its not about everything being perfect and spot on, even the smallest bit of progression is great!
Accept yourself, don't give a damn, and be happy, once you finally accept yourself, you can move forward to step 2 which is where you will be getting your motivation on!!
The only person standing in your way is YOU!
